Locality: Mexico, Sonora, Magdalena de Kino, 3.2 miles by road (Mex. 15) north of Magdalena.
Habitat: Low rolling hills; rocky soil. Sonoran Desert with Creosotebush, Saguaro, Desert Hackberry, White-thorn, Ocotillo, Olneya, Organpipe, and Pricklypear.
Associated Species: Olneya
Notes: Colony of ca. 5 shrubs, each about 1.5 m tall; much branched; fruit unripe, dying--perhaps due to recent frost.
