Habitat: Growing in buffer area, dry very disturbed sand prairie (old field with some prairie species). Growing with Chenchurus longispinus, Dianthus armeria, Digitatia sanguinalis, Diodia teres, Eragrostis trichodes, Hypericum canadense, Mollugo verticillata, Monarda punctata, Panicum rigidulum, Pyncnathemum verticillatum, etc.
