Soil characteristics: Kureb sand, 0 to 8 percent slopes (20) - very deep, excessively drained, nearly level to sloping soil on broad uplands on the coastal plain formed in marine, aeolian, or fluvial sands. Associate plant species: Prunus caroliniana, Paspalum urvellei, Erythrina herbacea, Vitis rotundifolia, Vitis aestivalis var. aestivalis, Diodia teres, Phlox pilosa ssp. pilosa, Valerianella radiata. Uncommon.
