Kureb sand, 0 to 8 percent slope (7) - very deep, excessively drained, sandy soil on undulating, low ridges, knolls and old dunes in coastal lowlands. Classified as occurring as a part of the Sand Pine Scrub Ecological Community. Associate plant species: Plantago virginica, Cerastium glomeratum, Vaccinium stamineum. Uncommon.
