Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Weeds in a poor quality buckwheat field, most collected from mowed circles around and paths between duck blinds; field mowed in Aug., the bent-over and cut-off grasses now re-emerging, some forming little heads under water or a little above water surface; field now entirely flooded 25 cm deep to attract ducks. Only a few plants in the buckwheat rows, these quite obviously volunteers from a previous year when field had been planted to a corn crop. Sorghum," "broom-corn." Annual; native of the Old World. Many varieties cultivated for both grain and forage; seed may be used as feed. Local in fields and waste ground, not persisting.
