In or at edge of small shallow pool (1-3 inches deep). Gravelly sandy soil in full sun. Surrounding ground packed gravel - used by road crews for storing gravel etc. Leersia oryzoides, Polygonum hydropiper, Cyperus rivularis, and Eleocharis obtusa growing in shallow water with cattails. Setaria glauca growing at edge. 1-3 dm tall.
