Locality: United States, Texas, Yoakum, Shrublike perennial with numerous stems from base, to 6-7 dm tall; disk corolla creamy; occasional in sandsage - Havard oak - dropseed vegetation on low-hummocky topography on essentially level part of Holocene sand sheet, ca. 0.2-0.3 miles E of F. M. 1780 from a point 5.1 roadmiles N of its jct. with F. M. 2196. Plains I SE Quadrangle. Elev. 3585 ft.
Habitat: Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Artemisia filifolia, Bouteloua hirsuta, Calylophus berlandieri, Chamaesyce glyptosperma, Chloris cucullata, Cyperus schweinitzii, Dithyrea wislizenii, Eragrostis curtipedicellata, E. secundiflora, Eriogonum annuum, Helianthus petiolaris, Ipomopsis longiflora, Monroa squarrosa, Palafoxia sphacelata, Paspalum setaceum, Quercus havardii, Sporobolus cryptandrus, Thelesperma megapotamicum.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
