Locality: United States, Texas, Willacy, A Kenedy and Willacy County line, Highway 96. Elev. 10 m.
Habitat: Known from Kenedy County, a prostrate spreading annual herb on open sandy ground on sandy loam soil. Flowers axillary, greenish, odorless. Leaves opposite, rather small, and few, lobed. Fruit is bur-like or prickly Bark green, roots fibrous. Frequent, it prefers sandy soil. Branched at base and spreading.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
