United States, Texas, Cameron, 5 miles S of Rio Hondo.
Known from South Texas, prostrate and spreading annual herb on moist open ground, clay soil. Axillary clusters of white, odorless flowers. Leaves mostly basal, runcinate, thin. Fruit a bur-like capsule. Bark pale green, roots fibrous. Frequent in low moist open ground, but not wet places.
