Grassy area. Soil characteristics: Kureb sand, 8 to12 percent slopes (17) - very deep, excessviely drained, sandy soil on strongly sloping side slopes of ridges, knolls, and old dunes in the coastal lowlands. Slopes are generally short and complex. This map unit is in the Sand Pine Scrub Ecological Community. Associate plant species: Coreopsis grandiflora var. grandiflora, Rubus trivialis, Lepidium virginicum, Vicia sativa ssp. nigra, Arenaria serpyllifolia var. serpyllifolia, Bidens pilosa, Medicago lupulina, Imperata cylindrica, Heterotheca subaxillaris ssp. subaxillaris, Agrostis hyemalis, Portulaca pilosa, Vulpia octoflora. Rare.
